Aberdare, Hell’s Gate and Tsavo West national parks are the premier rock climbing destinations in Kenya. The Table Mountain peak of Aberdare offers a challenge even to seasoned rock climbers. The Fisher’s Tower in Hell’s Gate,  Ngulia and Kitchwa Tembo rocks of Tsavo West National Parks can be scaled even by determined beginner.

Hiking & Trekking

In a single file, walking sticks at hand, the guide motions for a stop. He has just noted one of the most valuable endemic plants. As he gives the commentary, a lone Thomson gazelle hops from a nearby bush. At a distance, you can see the scenic beauty of the v-shaped valley.

The African jungle offer a perfect trekking and hiking ground. Hills, mountains, ancient long distance trade trails, grassland savannahs and forests. The accompanying local guides know a lot about the flora, fauna, sceneries, the history and the topography of the area.

For alpine trekking, the Ol Donyo Lesatima (3 999m) and Kinangop (3 906) peaks in Aberdare Ranges are unmatched destinations.

The young volcanic mount Longonot rising 2 776 meters above sea level  offers scenic landscapes views of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Nakuru.

For bush land and forest trekking, Tsavo West and Kakamega forest parks are some of the best destinations.
